Women. Naturally fond of pursuit. In search for affection, care, and acceptance. Will they keep finding themselves tied up in the wrong pursuit?
Men. They pursue women in different ways. Some men try to pursue women by a trap; Others simply pursue them by building up friendship; Very many of which try through sending messages through non-verbal or verbal; Some by showing the need for sympathy or empathy; Others, sad to say, pursue women by force.
Any blinded or emotionally functional woman would easily give in to any type of pursuit as long as it makes them feel accepted in some sense. Without personal values or standards in accepting a pursuit may bring the woman in grave danger or hurt. In one week I have seen two women on the road being hurt or forced by their partner. In months time I've seen one teenage guy playfully flatter different girls.
Woman, what are you really in search for? Is it then your role to really search or just fulfill your responsibility to society and your family until the time comes? On the other hand whether it's your role or not, have you even stopped to consider that there must be some pursuit greater than the pursuit of a man towards a woman?
Many women have found the real kind of pursuit they should look for. The pursuit that changed their lives. The pursuit that opened their eyes to greater things. The pursuit that pointed them to one great Pursuer. One who pursued with the basis of pure love and no strings attached. One who pursued to heal the broken not to break more hearts. One who pursued to strengthen the weak not to take advantage of the frail. One who pursued with all humility purposely to serve not to be served.
"When I'm lost You pursue me, Lift my head to see Your glory, Lord of all, so beautiful. Here in You I find shelter. Captivated by the splendor of Your face, My Secret place" -Sinking Deep by Hillsong
This is the pursuit every woman should accept so as every man should follow after. The pursuit of the Savior of the world.
"The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." -Jeremiah 31:3
